Man arrested on warrant, drug charges in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Murray man was arrested late May 6 on an outstanding warrant and drug-related charges, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they made contact with Mason Cody Jonathan, 41, at a residence on Higgason Lane around 11:30 p.m. While taking him into custody, deputies said they discovered suspected illegal drugs.

Jonathan was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Facility.

He is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and nonpayment of court costs and fees.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
