Man charged with criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – A man faces charges of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Williamson County.

John M. Dodd is charged with one count each of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Williamson County Sheriff’s investigators were notified on January 24 of an allegation of criminal sexual assault against Dodd.

Investigators gathered evidence regarding the allegations.

An arrest warrant for Dodd was issued by the Williamson County State’s Attorney’s Office on April 26.

Dodd was arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office on April 30.

Dodd was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
