Man charged with murder of mother in Essex
STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – A man faces murder and other charges in the death of his mother in Essex.
Jerry W. Teeters is charged with elder abuse, first degree domestic assault and committing the felony murder of his mother.
It happened in Essex in November 2023, according to Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney Sawyer Smith.
A preliminary hearing was held on April 18.
Teeter’s case is certified and bound over to Division I for further proceedings.
