Man faces drug charges after sheriff’s deputies investigate suspicious vehicle complaint

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Mississippi man face charges in McCracken County after sheriffs’ deputies investigated a supicious vehicle complaint.
Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office were investigating a suspicious vehicle complaint in the 3000 block of Old Husband Road on May 14 around 1:40 p.m.
They found the vehicle, a white 1999 GMC Sierra, in the 4000 block of Hardmoney Road.
Deputies say Nathan Alexander Smith of DeKalb, Mississippi was the driver.
They say Smith was in possession of crystal methamphetamine.
Smith faces charges of possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and failure of owner to maintain required insurance/sec 1st offense.
He was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
