Man facing drug charges after sheriff’s deputies respond to Calloway County home

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A man drug charges after Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in Murray on Wednesday, October 4.

Deputies responded to a possible domestic on Peach Orchard Road around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Sheriff’s deputies say Arthur Brackett, 32, of Madisonville, Ky. was driving a vehicle while impaired.

He was also in possession of a suspected illicit controlled substance which is a Class D felony, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

Brackett faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance (first offense), possesion of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bracket was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
