Man facing drug, other charges after sheriff’s deputies called to home in Lilbourn

LILBOURN, Mo. (KBSI) – A man was arrested after New Madrid County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in Lilbourn about a woman being held against her will.

William Everett Fields faces charges of drug trafficking 1st degree, felony tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest.

On October 19, New Madrid County Sheriff’s deputies responded to home in Lilbourn after receiving a call of a female being held against her will and somone showing a firearm.

Deputies arrived and found Fields.

A large quantity of methamphetamine, U.S. currency and a firearm was seized, according to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department.

Fields was taken to the Mississippi County Jail.

There is no bond until he appears in court.
