Man facing several charges after foot chase in McCracken County

LONE OAK, Ky. (KBSI) – A man faces several charges in McCracken County after sheriff’s deputies say he ran from law enforcement.
Deputies were dispatched for an “Unknown Trouble” call on Glenn Street on Wednesday, June 5 around 2:40 p.m.
Before deputies arrived, dispatch advised that they could hear a male and female arguing.
As a McCracken County deputy went to the back door, sheriff’s deputies say Darnell Richardson ran away immediately.
They say he refused multiple commands from law enforcement to stop but failed to do so.
Deputies say Richardson ran from law enforcement after a domestic violence assault.
Deputies were dispatched after a possible sighting of Richardson in the Bleich Road area around 6 p.m.
Deputies again Richardson again ran from law enforcement but was arrested after a brief foot chase with help from McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies and Paducah police officers.
At the time of the first foot chase, Richardson had active warrants from Kentucky and Tennessee.
Richardson faces charges of fleeing/evading (on foot) 1st degree, fleeing/evading (on foot) 2nd degree, wanton endangerment 1st degree, unlawful imprisonment 1st degree, two counts of criminal mischief 3rd degree, terroristic threatening 3rd degree, menacing, assault 4th degree domestic violence (minor injury), fugitive (warrant not required) and probation violation (for felony offense).
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Paducah Police Department, Kentucky Probation and Parole, and several citizens in the Lone Oak area.
