CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Murray man faces theft charges in Calloway County.

John D. Waynick III, 43, faces charges of theft by deception $1,000 to $10,000 (Class D felony) and theft of controlled substance under $10,000 (Class D felony).

An investigation stemming from allegations of deception with the intent to deprive the victim of their money after beginning work at a home led deputies to obtaining a warrant for Waynick’s arrest.
