Man found dead in Kentucky Lake

(KBSI) – Authorities released details about a 41-year-old man found dead in Kentucky Lake on Saturday.

Authorities believe the man drowned. Witnesses claim a man was dropped off at Kentucky Lake by family members on Saturday.

Boaters on the water’s edge say the man was acting agitated and throwing rocks.

“That was it, they were out there and somebody said they thought he had a seizure, and next thing you know he was face down in the water,” said Curt Curtner with Marshall County Emergency Management.

Authorities identify the victim as Paul Dunn.

Curtner explains what happened once boaters found Dunn in the water.

“Apparently he was found by some other citizen and then everybody was in route and once the rescue squad got on scene, he was pronounced dead there at Cedar Point,” said Curtner.

Curtner says he believes the cause of death could be drowning, but the medical examiner in Madisonville, Kentucky still has more tests to perform.
