Man killed in crash involving truck, electric bicycle in New Madrid County
NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — A 64-year-old Marston man died Sunday after his electric bicycle collided with a truck on U.S. 61.
A driver failed to yield and pulled into the path of another vehicle, resulting in a fatal crash, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by New Madrid County Coroner George DeLisle at 12:41 p.m.
The crash marks the 36th fatality in Troop E’s coverage area for 2025.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2004 Ford F350 driven by a 38-year-old Portageville man.
The crash occurred around 12:41 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2025.
