Man taken into custody after search warrant executed in Canalou
NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Deputies received a tip earlier this week that Timothy Gibson possessed methamphetamine at his Canalou home. Witnesses also reported Gibson made threats to kill a New Madrid County deputy who had investigated him in a prior case.
A search warrant was executed at Gibson’s home around midnight on August 8, yielding several illegal items. Gibson was taken to the Mississippi County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance, with a bond set at $10,000.
The investigation into Gibson’s alleged death threats against the deputy is ongoing.
