Man treated after stabbing; woman charged with aggravated domestic battery

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) – A Williamson County woman was arrested late Monday after deputies responded to a reported stabbing and found a man with a puncture wound to the abdomen, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were called to the scene around 11:10 p.m. on Nov. 24 and located a male victim with a non-life-threatening injury. EMS personnel treated and released him at the scene.
The suspect, identified as Amanda J. McCabe, was taken into custody and cited for aggravated domestic battery under 720 ILCS 5/12-3.3, a Class 2 felony. She was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
