Man with arrest warrant in Wisconsin arrested in New Madrid

NEW MADRID, Mo. (KBSI) – A man with an arrest warrant out of Wisconsin was arrested in New Madrid overnight Thursday.

Daishon Brown, 22, had an arrest warrant out of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area charging him with first degree intentional homicide and first degree recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.

Overnight on August 29, the New Madrid Police Department received information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol that a wanted person may be at a home in New Madrid.

Officers responded to an apartment on Blades Drive in New Madrid and quickly found Brown.

He was arrested at the apartment and taken to the Mississippi County Jail.

The New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted the New Madrid Police Department.
