Marion man arrested on multiple drug charges

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) — A Marion man has been arrested on multiple charges related to the sale and possession of controlled substances.

The arrest stemmed from an undercover investigation launched in January by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies made multiple controlled purchases of narcotics from Gillihan at his residence.

Gillihan was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony, and cited for delivery of a controlled substance, also a class 4 felony. He was also wanted on outstanding warrants for delivery of a controlled substance and criminal trespass to a vehicle.
