Married couple trespassing on home, man arrested for domestic violence charges

CARLISLE COUNTY, KY (KBSI) —  The Carlisle County Sheriff’s office was called by a resident off of State Route 1371 in the Milburn community that a man identified as David Reeves and his wife April had entered a rental house without permission.

Both Reeves were previous tenants at the rental home which was already occupied by a new tenant. David Reeves had an active warrant for his arrest, and when he saw the deputies, he attempted to run inside the home. Deputies caught him not long after. April Reeves was found sleeping inside the house. Further investigation showed that both Reeves’ had bought clothing and food as if they were going to resume living at the house. Both were issued trespass warnings, and informed if they returned to the property they would be arrested.

David Reeves was placed under arrest for a previous Assault charge for Domestic Violence.
