Marshall County opens opioid grant applications

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) — The Marshall County Opioid Funds Committee is accepting applications for funding opportunities supporting opioid education, prevention and treatment efforts across the county.
According to county officials, the funding comes from settlement money recovered through lawsuits against opioid manufacturers.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with or without IRS 501(c)(3) status and government entities. Officials say projects must focus on opioid-related education, prevention or treatment efforts.
Applications are due by midnight Sunday, July 13, 2026.
If selected to move forward, applicants will be invited to participate in an in-person interview with the committee.
