Marshall County Sheriff’s Office asks for help identifying counterfeit money suspect

POSSUM TROT, Ky. (KBSI) – The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office requests the public’s help identifying two people suspected of using counterfeit money at a dollar store in Possum Trot.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office received a call to respond to the Dollar General in Possum Trot on April 29.

Two males entered the store and tried to use counterfeit money to make a purchase, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

When it was discovered that the money was counterfeit, the two left the store stealing the item they were trying to purchase, according to the sheriff’s office.
