Mary Jane Burgers & Brew alerts customers to Point-of-Sale issue

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) – Mary Jane Burgers & Brew is notifying customers of a problem with its point-of-sale system that processes credit card transactions.
The issue, which began in January 2024, prevented the system from processing transactions when no tip was added. The problem was recently discovered and the restaurant is working with its point-of-sale provider, Shift4, to resolve the issue.
Customers who notice unauthorized charges from Mary Jane Burgers & Brew or other local restaurants that use Shift4 may be affected by this issue.
The restaurant apologizes for any inconvenience and invites customers to discuss the matter further in person.
Owner Carisa Stark expressed appreciation for customers’ understanding and patience as the issue is resolved.
