Math teacher named new Reidland Middle School assistant principal

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A math teacher at Reidland Middle School is now the school’s assistant principal.
Cheyanne Reed-Warriner has been a math teacher at Reidland Middle School since July 2016. In her time at the middle school, she took on numerous leadership roles, including serving on the Scheduling Committee, Superintendent Advisory Group and the Activities Coordinator. In these roles, she demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, a talent for effective communication and a passion for fostering a positive school culture, according to school administrators.
As the PBIS Coach and LiveSchool Chairperson, she promoted positive behavior and enhanced the educational experience for all students.
“I cannot be more excited to continue serving the students and families of this great community as the Assistant Principal at Reidland Middle School. As an RMS alum, this opportunity holds a special place in my heart, and I am deeply honored to have been selected for this role,” said Reed- Warriner. “With such a dedicated team of educators and staff, I am confident that together we can continue to foster a supportive and enriching environment for our students. I am eager to begin this new chapter at RMS! Once a Greyhound, always a Greyhound! Go Hounds!”
Reed-Warriner holds a Master of Arts in Education: Education Administration from Murray State University that she earned in May 2024. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education: Teacher as Leader from the University of the Cumberlands, a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy from Friends University.
Before working at Reidland Middle School, Reed-Warriner taught at Crittenden County High School. She was recognized as the CCHS Teacher of the Year for 2014-2015. She was also the District Teacher Leader, Math Professional Learning Community Chair, and Head Softball Coach at Crittenden County
