Mayfield-Graves Fire Rescue Chief injured in crash while responding to call

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — Mayfield-Graves Fire Rescue Chief David Warner was injured Sunday evening in a vehicle crash while responding to a brush fire, officials said.

Warner was flown to an out-of-state hospital for treatment. Sheriff Jon Hayden said the chief is awake and responding but asked the community to keep him in their prayers.
