Mayfield man arrested on multiple charges after brief manhunt
MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — Graves County deputies arrested a Mayfield man on multiple charges after he fled from a residence where he was being sought.
Zachary D. Cross, 33, was taken into custody around 10 p.m. March 31 after deputies returned to a South 5th Street residence where he had been hiding.
Cross had active warrants for strangulation, assault, unlawful imprisonment and terroristic threatening.
He also faces charges of fleeing or evading police, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Katherin Harris, 37, who lives at the residence with Cross, was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension after deputies say she lied about Cross’s presence.
Deputy Chad Hall was assisted by Deputy Austin Ramage and Mayfield police officers.
