Mayfield to hold grand opening for new Fire Station 1

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — The City of Mayfield will host a grand opening for its new Fire Station 1 later this month.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, at 9:30 a.m. at 115 Kings Drive.

City officials said the new station comes after the December 2021 tornado that caused widespread damage and represents ongoing recovery and a continued commitment to public safety.

Community members are invited to attend the event and recognize the efforts of local first responders.
