Mayfield woman facing drug charges after deputies find meth

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A woman faces drug charges after sheriff’s deputies found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Toni R. Chambers, 39, of Mayfield faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia (buy/possess).

Graves County Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Crane responded to an address on Dorothy Lane to conduct a follow up on an active investigation on January 19.

While conducting an interview with Chambers, the resident of the home,

Detectives began questioning Chambers about alleged drug activity coming from the home.

She admitted to being in possession of methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies located more than two ounces of methamphetamine, digital scales, several bags used to package and distribute illegal drugs, cash and other items of drug paraphernalia in a kitchen cabinet in the home, according to the sheriff’s office.

She was arrested and taken to the Graves County RC Center.
