Mayor declares April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – Mayor Dwain Hahs presented a proclamation for National Child Abuse Prevention Month to Alix Gasser, Executive Director of Southeast Missouri Network Against Sexual Violence, on Monday night.

The proclamation recognizes the importance of preventing child abuse and neglect and promoting family strengthening and community support.
