McCracken County ASAP, Beautiful Paducah announce Safe Ride Home partnership for Barbeque on the River

PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) – McCracken County ASAP (Agency For Substance Abuse Policy) announced a partnership with Beautiful Paducah to work toward substance abuse prevention and recovery support for all. Together they will host the BBQ on the River Festival.

The events is September 21-23 in Paducah.

QR codes will be provided for resources to get home for those who choose to drink at the event. They can be found on koozie sleeves, banners, cards, and more. Additionally, resources in lime green will be displayed throughout the event with the QR code to assist in making responsible decisions when attendees choose to leave, according to Turning Point Recovery Community Center.

The QR code will link to a site that provides one-touch access to call cab companies, link to the Lyft app or view the free trolley map. Tap here to access the site.
