PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A McCracken County couple was arrested Tuesday after deputies seized methamphetamine, synthetic drugs and paraphernalia during a search of their Cairo Road residence, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives said the investigation began in August after a complaint of suspected drug activity at 3955 Cairo Road, Lot 5. A search warrant executed Tuesday led to the arrests of Jesse J. Bowman, 47, and Denise M. Morella, 59.
Inside the home, deputies said they found about 43 grams of crystal methamphetamine, several bags of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia consistent with trafficking.
Bowman, who is currently on federal supervision for prior convictions, and Morella were booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
Both face charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (more than 2 grams of methamphetamine), trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bowman also faces a charge of failing to notify the Department of Transportation of an address change.
The investigation is ongoing.
