PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A Paducah man was arrested Thursday night after fleeing from deputies on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and being found in possession of drugs, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies attempted to stop the ATV around 9:02 p.m. on Oct. 23 after observing traffic violations near John Puryear Drive and Hovekamp Road. When deputies activated their emergency lights, the driver fled behind a residential area off Milliken Road.
Deputies pursued on foot and soon located the ATV flipped over, with the driver — identified as Ryan Tucker, 40, of Paducah — crouched behind the vehicle. During the arrest, deputies found marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia on Tucker’s person.
Tucker was taken into custody and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
The sheriff’s office said additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
