McCracken County deputies collecting pet supplies for local animal shelters

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is collecting pet food and supplies to help support animal shelters in the surrounding area.

The sheriff’s office will host its Deputy Dogs Paws For A Cause Pet Food & Supplies Drive on Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Rural King, 4711 Cairo Road in Paducah.

Deputies and volunteers will accept donations of dog and cat food, treats, toys and money during the event.

Donations can also be dropped off before the event at the McCracken County Courthouse from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Donations collected through the drive will benefit animal shelters in the surrounding area.
