McCracken County deputy involved in vehicle pursuit and arrest
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A McCracken County deputy attempted to stop a truck driving recklessly in the Farley area around 11 p.m. on July 28. The vehicle fled, continuing to travel recklessly on roadways and through yards.
During the pursuit, items fell from the truck bed onto the roadway, endangering the driver, deputies and others. To end the pursuit safely, a deputy used a Precision Immobilization Technique to stop the vehicle on Blandville Road.
The driver, 40-year-old Ronald Hoyle, fled on foot but was taken into custody after a brief pursuit and struggle. Hoyle faces multiple charges, including:

– Speeding
– Criminal Littering
– Fleeing or Evading Police
– Wanton Endangerment
– Criminal Mischief
– Resisting Arrest
– Operating on Suspended License
– Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence
