McCracken County detectives arrest Paducah man on trafficking charges

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A Paducah man was arrested Tuesday after detectives found synthetic marijuana, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a search of his home, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said investigators executed a search warrant Sept. 23 at a residence on North 26th Street as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Inside, they located Corey A. Thomas, 41, and seized about two pounds of synthetic marijuana, marijuana, assorted paraphernalia and roughly $7,130 in cash believed to be drug proceeds.
Thomas, who has multiple prior drug trafficking convictions, was charged with second-offense trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
