McCracken County High School Culinary Team places 2nd at state fair Jr. Chef competition

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – The McCracken County High School Culinary team placed second at the Kentucky State Fair’s Jr. Chef competition.

They showcased their cooking skills in front of a live audience.

Seniors Isabel Wilkins, Abby Orange and Preston Blewett  wowed the judges with a recipe that not only tasted great but also met National School Lunch Program standards.

Ashley Woodruff, MCHS Culinary Teacher, and Cathy Lewis, MCPS Director of Food Services, served as their coaches.
