McCracken County High School Future Problem-Solving Team competes at International World Finals

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – The McCracken County High School Future Problem-Solving Team at the International Conference World Finals in early June.

They competed in Team Global Issues Problem Solving, Individual Problem Solving, and Presentation of Action Plan competitions. They also participatedin activities with students from around the world.

They advanced to the Senior Division Top 10 Finals for the Presentation of Action Plan. The team won 3rd place globally.

Brennen Hartman achieved 7th place in the world for Individual Future Problem Solving.

Future Problem Solving (FPS) is an academic competition that fosters critical thinking and decision-making skills by addressing hypothetical future scenarios on topics like Air Quality, Nanotechnology, Agricultural Industry and Global Food Security.
