McCracken County man arrested following internet crimes against children investigation

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A McCracken County man was arrested Tuesday following an investigation involving the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home in McCracken County on Sept. 8.
As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested 24-year-old Jakob Kipp. He was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail on a charge of possessing matter portraying the sexual performance of a minor younger than 12, a Class C felony.
The Kentucky State Police assisted the sheriff’s office with the investigation.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is a member of Kentucky’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which investigates allegations involving the exploitation of children.
