PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — A McCracken County man already facing multiple sex crime charges has been arrested on dozens of additional charges after investigators said he violated the conditions of his release.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, detectives arrested Landon Player on Feb. 5, 2026, on charges of second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, second-degree sexual abuse and three counts of first-degree distribution of obscene matter to a minor. He was released on bond on May 14, 2026.

According to the sheriff’s office, detectives learned in June that Player was allegedly continuing to engage in the same pattern of behavior after his release.

Player was arrested again on July 20 and is now charged with 39 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of violating conditions of release.

He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Player is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
