McCracken County Schools appoints April Bynum as Principal of Reidland Elementary

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — McCracken County Public Schools announced Monday that April Bynum has been appointed principal of Reidland Elementary School.

Bynum, a veteran educator and leader, has served in various roles at Reidland Elementary, including classroom teacher, math interventionist, instructional coach and assistant principal.

“It is an incredible honor to serve as principal of Reidland Elementary,” Bynum said. “This school is a family, and I am committed to ensuring that every student feels supported, challenged and inspired.”

McCracken County Schools Superintendent Josh Hunt expressed confidence in Bynum’s leadership, citing her dedication to education and ability to build strong relationships with students, staff and families.

Bynum holds bachelor’s, master’s and Rank 1 certification degrees from Murray State University.

As principal, Bynum aims to build on the school’s legacy of excellence and help students reach their full potential.
