McCracken County Schools opens nominations for inaugural Hall of Fame

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — McCracken County Schools has opened nominations for the inaugural McCracken County Schools Hall of Fame, with the first class set to be inducted in 2026.

The Hall of Fame will recognize individuals for excellence and lasting impact in academics or athletics. Two categories will be included:

McCracken County High School Hall of Fame, honoring alumni of McCracken County High School for outstanding academic or athletic achievement.

Hall of Heritage, honoring alumni of Heath High School, Reidland High School and Lone Oak High School for outstanding academic or athletic achievement.

Nominations are open to the public, with a submission deadline of June 1, 2026.

Applications may be submitted online or by hard copy. Hard-copy applications can be turned in to Mallory Austin at McCracken County High School. Links to nomination forms and additional details are available on the McCracken County Schools website.

The inaugural induction ceremony is scheduled for August 2026. Further details will be announced at a later date.
