McCracken County Sheriff’s Department locates synthetic drug laboratory

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Kentucky man faces several charges after the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department located a variety of drugs inside a home.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff on the afternoon of April 30, 2025 his department conducted a search warrant at a residence at 5601 Old Mayfeild Road as part of a drug investigation.

The resident of the home David Perdue aged 53 was present during the search.

Deputies located marijuana, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and three firearms located near other narcotics.

Deputies also located a garage on the property that was being used as a synthetic drug laboratory where synthetic marijuana was being made.

Synthetic marijuana is sometimes called spice and can be full of harmful chemicals.

Acetone and Raid was found in the drug laboratory and its believed much of this drug has already been disbursed to people in the McCracken County area.

McCracken County Sheriff Ryan Norman urges against anyone purchasing of illegal drugs because these ingredients can cause terrible side effects and even death in extreme situations.

David Perdue aged 53 was arrested and faces multiple charges.
