McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies ask for public help in theft investigation

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies ask for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a theft from unlocked vehicles in Paducah in February.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies and officers from the Paducah Police Department responded to the Stinespring Sub Division area of McCracken County on February 13 to the report of two suspects stealing items from unlocked vehicles.

Paducah police officers took one of the suspects, a juvenile, into custody.

Sheriff’s detectives are still working two firearm thefts from vehicles in the area.

They ask for the public’s assistance in obtaining and collecting any video evidence or unreported theft attempts in the in the Stinespring, Deerhaven or Saint Andrews areas that occurred on February 13.

This includes attempts to enter vehicles or where vehicles were entered but nothing may have been taken. Detectives also want to know if thefts occurred but nothing was reported to city or county law enforcement.
