McCracken County sheriff’s deputies ask for public’s help after tools stolen

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies ask for the public’s help as they investigate a theft from a locked storage trailer.

McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Bobo Road to the report of a theft on April 17.

A foreman with the Canadian Railroad work crew reported that sometime between April 9 and April 17 unknown suspects entered a locked storage trailer and unlawfully removed a large amount of new Milwaukee power tools. The tools are valued at about $17,000.

Deputies collected evidence at the scene which includes evidence that possibly links a 1989-1998 GMC Sierra, Silverado or Suburban to the crime.

Detectives are looking at other evidence from the scene to link possible suspects to the crime.

They ask for the public’s help for any information that may lead to arrests in the investigation.
