McCracken County Sheriff’s Office confirms suspect in Superway Market burglary
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — UPDATE: After receiving numerous tips from the public, the male subject has been identified as a 15-year-old juvenile from the Lone Oak area.
He was located and arrested last date and lodged at the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Authorities are investigating a burglary at Superway Market, located at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and Charleston Avenue.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene early Thursday. Investigators say a white male broke a window to gain entry to the business around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The suspect removed items from behind the register before fleeing. Authorities believe the male lives near the store.
