Mercy Southeast expands care in Jackson with new Nurse Practitioner

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — Mercy Southeast has expanded patient access at its convenient care location in Jackson with the addition of advanced nurse practitioner Leigh Hampton.

Hampton brings more than 30 years of nursing experience, including 25 years as a family nurse practitioner, to Mercy Convenient Care – Jackson, located at 2432 E. Main Street, Suite B.

Hampton’s experience includes primary care, urgent care, inpatient palliative care and administration settings. She has also owned a healthcare business.

“I enjoy helping my patients feel better,” Hampton said. “I’ve worked most of my career in rural communities, and I believe Mercy is a blessing for our region.”

The walk-in clinic, led by Dr. Bhavani Vaddey and physician assistants, provides same-day care for patients of all ages with minor illnesses and injuries.
