Mercy Southeast opens Orthopedic walk-in clinic

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Mercy now offers a walk in orthopedic medical clinical in Cape Girardeau.

Mercy stated in their press release that patients experiencing orthopedic injuries can be seen faster with Mercy Southeast’s newest walk-in service.

Mercy Orthopedic Walk-in Care is open 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Orthopedic walk in care service is offered through Mercy Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine located on 650 S Mount Auburn in Suite 101 in Cape Girardeau.

The new clinic will provide services for immediate diagnoses and treatment for new or acute musculoskeletal issues that occurred within the last two weeks, such
as:
• New, sudden injuries
• Bone fractures
• Muscle strains
• Joint sprains
• Swollen joints
• New injuries in need of a diagnosis

Patients aged 10 years of age and older can receive services without making an appointment but instead be able to be seen immediately. Patients can also be seen without a referral but just by walking in.

A team of doctors, nurse practitioners and certified athletic trainers will serve patients in the new clinic.
