Woman arrested at a drug house incarcerated for possession of meth 1 week later

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI)  – A woman arrested on June 12 after hiding in a drug house was arrested one week later for possession of methamphetamine.

Jerri L. Strizel was a passenger in a car during a traffic stop on Noah Avenue near 15th Street in Johnson City, Ill.

During the stop the Williamson County Sheriff’s K9 unit conducted an air sniff test resulting in a a positive alert for narcotics.

Officers located a white crystal like substance in Strizel’s purse. Strizel was cited for possession of methamphetamine, a class 3 felony.

This comes after Strizel was found hiding under a pile of clothes during the search of a drug house in Whiteash, Ill. seven days ago.

Strizel was wanted on an outstanding warrant for possession of methamphetamine during the June 12 raid.
