Metropolis to host premiere of Annie Turnbo Malone documentary

METROPOLIS, Ill., (KBSI) — The Metropolis Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to attend the local premiere of the documentary “Annie Turnbo Malone: The Untold Story.”
The screening is scheduled for May 9 at the First Missionary Family Life Center at Seventh and Vine streets.
Organizers said the film, seven years in the making, highlights the life and legacy of Malone, a Metropolis native known for her success and lasting impact.
The event is open to the community.
