Midtown Cape hosts fundraiser for Southeast Missouri Pets
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Midtown Cape raised money for Southeast Missouri Pets on Saturday.
The bar opened its doors at 2 pm.., welcoming guests to the Woofapalooza fundraiser supporting the animal shelter.
The fundraiser featured multiple bands, a food truck, prizes, and more.
One of the bands performing today was The Doubted, and guitarist George Kester said performing for a cause like SEMO Pets means a lot to him on multiple levels.
“I have five cats, so I love animals for sure,” he said. “We always like playing for any kind of charity things. It’s good to bring the community together and have a good time with everybody, and then for a good cause, it’s even better.”
