Midway Enterprises in Fairdealing, Mo. site offers 76 full hook up RV site and 27 vacation rental cabins of various sizes. They have enclosed boat and RV storage with full electric and lights for the fulltime RVers that have extra things they want to store.

“We built a place that we want people to come to and not have to leave. They want to come relax,” said Clint Payne, owner of Midway Enterprises.

There is a lake full stocked with fish.

“It’s (the lake) been here about 40 years so it’s got some big ones in it,” said Payne.

Kids can have fun with catch and release of the fish.

There is some construction going on. Payne hopes to be done by mid-summer. All the cabins and RV sites are ready now.

The shower house facility and inground swimming pool will be wrapped up by the end of June.

They are building pickleball courts and a volleyball court.

Plans include constructing a stage for live entertainment and also a playground.

They will offer transportation to and from the float camp facility in Doniphan.

Payne hopes to host company picnics and corporate retreats. An event center is up and running. They’ve hosted weddings.

They are also building a camp store with a commercial ice machine.

“When you get here you shouldn’t have to leave,” said Payne. “If you want to come stay the weekend with us, that’s what we’re hoping everybody does.”
