Missouri (KBSI) -The Miracle Ear Foundation is holding a “Miracle Ear Mission.”

“Prescription hearing aids are seldom covered by insurance and are often cost-prohibitive for folks living on a fixed income,” said Molly Hill Ford, managing partner of Miracle-Ear of Southeast Missouri. “We are excited to partner with the Miracle-Ear Foundation to ensure cost is not a barrier to access life-changing hearing healthcare in the Missouri bootheel.”

The event is scheduled on August 14 and 15 at the Black River Coliseum in Popular bluff and on August 17 and 18 2023, at the Kennett Opera house in Kennett.

Hearing loss effects people of all ages, from babies, young children, teens and adults.

One in eight people in the U.S age 12 and over have hearing loss in both ears.

At this event the Miracle-Ear Foundation will give the Gift of Sound by giving away 200 free hearing aids to 100 residents who cannot afford them.  The recipients will not only receive free hearing aids but also a lifetime of services to ensure they can maintain their hearing aids and enjoy the Gift of Sound.

Space is limited so pre-registration is strongly suggested.
