Miss Africa USA finalist hosts Back-to-School Hygiene Kit Drive in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Ropa Sandiswa N., a finalist in the Miss Africa USA pageant, is hosting a back-to-school hygiene kit drive for young girls.

The event, scheduled for Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will take place at Shelter 1 in Capaha Park, near the statue.

Young girls of all ages are invited to attend and receive a customizable sanitary bag kits. The event will also feature a meet-and-greet with Sandiswa.

The initiative aims to promote hygiene and self-care among young girls, while also encouraging them to pursue interests in faith, beauty, style and STEM fields.
