Missing Carbondale teen found safe and sound
CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Dametrious P. Nelson, a 16-year-old Carbondale resident reported missing, has been located by police detectives and found to be in good health.
The City of Carbondale Police Department expressed gratitude for the public’s assistance in the matter.
The Carbondale Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Dametrious P. Nelson, who was last seen on August 13.
Nelson was seen around 12:53 a.m. in the 3000 block of West Sunset Drive. He is described as 5’10” tall, weighing 155 pounds, with brown eyes and black shoulder-length dreadlocks.
He was wearing a white shirt, blue pants, a black jacket, and white shoes, and may be carrying a backpack with different clothing.
Nelson may be in the Marion area, where he has family.
