Missing Carbondale teens located safe, police say

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Two juveniles reported missing earlier this week have been located and are safe, the Carbondale Police Department said.

Police said Noah Robinson, 17, and Matthew Hilton, 17, both of Carbondale, were located Feb. 3 and found to be in good health. Authorities thanked the public for its assistance in the search.

Previously reported: Police had requested the public’s help in locating the two teens after officers learned they were last seen about 9:35 p.m. Feb. 2 in the 2500 block of East Walnut Street.

Robinson is 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs about 200 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, orange pants and dark-colored shoes. Hilton is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white hat, black jacket, black pants and white shoes.

Police previously said both teens have conditions that placed them at risk. The investigation remains active.
